FutureWEDGE™ 3100
The FutureWEDGE™ 3100 is a versatile, environmentally-friendly, all electric vehicle barrier designed to meet a variety of perimeter security demands. Depending on your site’s crash rating requirements, the FutureWEDGE™ 3100 comes in four practical versions, with the highest rating capable of stopping and immobilizing a 15,000 lb vehicle traveling up to 50 mph. The FutureWEDGE™ 3100 vehicle barrier is a pollution-free solution utilizing an electric actuator designed to meet or exceed the operating speeds of hydraulic systems . There are no hydraulic hoses or polluting oil, which are common causes of barrier failure and costly maintenance. This patented, precision-built, new generation barrier reduces installation and maintenance costs while improving reliability at an overall lower life cycle cost.
The FutureWEDGE™ 3100 vehicle barrier features a motor and control design that provides greater utilization of the incoming power supply and improves efficiency. Any electric current can be used to power the barrier. High duty cycles for traffic control and lower maintenance costs are features of this barrier. Our product can qualify for up to 6 LEED points. It is standard with LED stop/go lights and can be ordered with a fully integrated gate arm assembly.

1The FutureWEDGE™ 3100 range is precision designed with no hydraulics or associated hazardous fluids. Being all electric, we eliminate breakdowns associated with traditional hydraulic systems and common wearing components such as hoses, cylinders, HPU, etc. The electro-mechanical drive features smooth, quiet, trouble-free operation.
Built for Integration
2The FutureWEDGE™ 3100 utilizes industry leading PLC and VFD drives to allow for customized operation and communication with available touchscreen technology. The PLC also allows the barrier to be easily integrated with other perimeter security systems such as speed detection, access controls, traffic loops, automatic doors, CCTV, gates, and other intrusion devices.

3With the all electric design, low emitting materials, qualified manufacturing points and environmental sustainability, the FutureWEDGE™ 3100 can contribute toward as many as six LEED categories.
Multiple Features
4The FutureWEDGE™ 3100 electric vehicle barrier is available in a single or dual buttress design, with a bolt down or shallow foundation installation, depending on the crash rating requirement. The 3100 is crash rated for all three ASTM-M and DOS-K levels. Typical foundation depth for an anchor frame installation is from 8 – 12 inches (203 – 305 mm). Single entrances up to 16 feet (4.9m) in width can be secured with the 3100 series. This model is standard with LED stop/go lights and can be supplied with a fully integrated gate arm assembly. It is integration ready!
