| The RAC-WEDGE electric vehicle barrier is a self contained “plug and activate”, single buttress, bolt-down barrier, designed for effective traffic control. It is the ideal solution for car rental sites, parking garages, or for campus access points requiring crash rated security at an affordable price. The RAC-WEDGE has a plate height of 24 inches in the fully armed position (considerably higher than other competitive models), capable of stopping and immobilizing a 5,000 lb vehicle traveling @ 42 mph or up to 10,000 lbs @ 30 mph commonly referred to as a K2/PU40 crash rating. Single entrances up to 16 feet in width can be secured with this barrier. It is standard with LED stop/go lights and can be ordered with a fully integrated gate arm assembly. |

The RAC-WEDGE all electric, pollution free solution utilizes an electric actuator. Hydraulic hoses and oil, which are common causes of barrier failure, are gone! This new generation barrier reduces installation and maintenance costs, while improving reliability. Any electrical current can be used to power the barrier. The RAC-WEDGE features a motor design that provides greater utilization of the incoming power supply and improves efficiency. High duty cycles for traffic control and lower maintenance costs are features of this barrier.
